An any-occasion card with a soft botanical print on handmade seed paper. Blank inside, so it works for a thank you, a hello, or a just-because. Whoever gets it can plant it and grow a small patch of wildflowers.

The details
Handmade seed paper made from 100% pre-consumer recycled cotton, embedded with Sweet Alyssum, Poppy, Baby's Breath, and Rudbeckia (Black-eyed Susan) seeds. All four are non-invasive, pollinator-friendly species that grow happily in a pot. Blank inside for your own message. Kraft envelope and compostable sleeve included.

How to plant your card
1. Tear the card into small pieces and soak them in water for a few hours or overnight.
2. Press the pieces into a pot of soil and sprinkle a thin layer of soil on top, about 1/8 inch.
3. Keep the soil moist but not soggy, somewhere warm and bright.
4. Sprouts appear in 1 to 6 weeks. Move the pot outside or keep it on a sunny windowsill. Best planted spring through summer, or started indoors any time of year.
